Chief of People, The Social Element

With 20 years’ experience in managing remote teams in social media, Wendy runs The Social Element’s People division, looking after company culture, staff engagement, human resources and internal communications. Prior to joining The Social Element in 2008, Wendy led the online community team at AOL UK, developing and delivering the strategy for community management, moderation and online safety. It was during this time that Wendy developed her passion and expertise for managing remote-based teams.

Outside work, mother-of-two Wendy is passionate about music, cram-reading for book club and volunteering for the North East Rider Volunteers blood-bike charity.
